Dad's birthday, AI & The Amazing Race

Mar 30, 2005 19:33

Good evening all. Ah yes, even though it's night though. Still okay to consider for evening, huh? Okay, me so lame!

I know, it's been 3 days since I last updated here. The second last day of March. So fast. And today is my dad's birthday as well. Actually, he, Mother and my two younger siblings had went for a game of bowling in the afternoon after they fetched me home from school today. Dad said that he got a half-day off from the office. He told me about that yesterday.

They had not returned home yet though because Mother said that she would buy the birthday cake by then and so I guess they are having their dinner outside at the moment while me typing this away from home!

I managed to watch American Idol today this afternoon. It was on 4pm. Yeah, now they had it earlier and this time, it's directly from satellite. Still, it will be showing again tonight at half-past 8. It will be the same for tomorrow where they will be showing the results show at 4pm and 10pm too. But then I can't watch the first broadcast for tomorrow because it clashes with my school dismissal timing! Ew.

It's all about the 90s' this week. Yeah!!!!!!!! The era where I first started knowing about the music that my friends in school listened to...and the Spice Girls! If you want, smack me because I used to like the Spice Girls a lot back then. Me was around nine then. But hey, everyone is like talking about them then in school. Or so I remembered. Oops! The Spice Girls were the first group of singers I really become a groupie (did I say that?) before Clay came into the scene and making me fan-girly. My first ever group of favourite singers. I don't care what you all are going to say...neer neer!

I knew Dad sure said that he did not really the theme for the week because he is more belonging to the late 60s and 70s! Where he like the BeeGees, The Carpenters and ABBA as a teen then. I don't really blame him because when there was the 60s' theme like the week before, I do not know most of the songs the finalists sang though.

I know this update is kind of long, so I will summarise my thoughts. It's not that bad, I say. Carrie has never disappointed me from the start! Yee-haw! I so know why I like the girl in the beginning! Yes, me being a groupie...again!

The Amazing Race is on here tonight at 10pm. A two-hour episode for tonight! Wow. Maybe I will try to catch up with my homework as I watched the show tonight. Yes, me very bad. I have not finished it yet though...but then it's only due on Friday! Just hope my mother never realised it though or else she will come whacking me!
