BACC: Loompa Island - Loompa-Luzier (Y1W2)
Welcome to the second week of Oompa. On the first day of her of her arrival, Oompa managed to get herself pregnant by Remy, a cute ‘n shy werewolf. She gave birth to a baby boy and named him Descartes. He grew into a toddler the first week, but Oompa had been so busy with the kid, she didn’t really do any work to get Loompa Island up and running. Luckily Nate managed to max out mechincal skills, so her goal for this week is become BF with Nate, and since she needs to work, she also needs Remy to move into the house. Let’s get on with it.
We start with Descartes in a cloud of stink. Just because.
Lady Luck was on my side, because Nate dropped by for a chat and Oompa and he became BF. That means we’re going to have electricity and running water once Oompa reaches level 3 in her career: Lobbyist.

And then this one.
Nate really sleeps everywhere. It’s amusing to see he just changes into his cute, blue jammies and jumps into bed, no matter who’s in there already. They're all friends.
More luck! Remy dropped by and Oompa was very happy to see him. She asked him to move in, which he happily did. He brought his games with him, but no money.
And so Remy finally met his son.
Who is quite scary from time to time. 0_o
But this is totally cute. Awww...
Remy was determined to get Descartes potty-trained. :D

Remy always makes this face at me whenever I tell him to clean stuff. It’s so cute. ^__^
Joy always steals everybody’s newspaper. I don’t really care, because I never have to recycle it that way. I was amused when the paperboy gave her a lecture, though. (This is obviously very inconsistent with this BACC, because there isn’t supposed to be a paperboy or a paper...)
Remy’s LTW is become Chief of Staff. Byron already learned physiology because he had the want, but it’s not his LTW. I decided to let Remy learn it as well, in case there will be an opening for the medical career soon. Only when he was done did I realize he can’t work because he needs to look after Descartes while Oompa’s trying to get the Island going. Bad planning on my part. *sighs*
Descartes birthday without a party because I forgot. Shame on me.
Hee! He’s cute!! :D This also means there’s an opening for the educational career. I’m giving it to Alvaro. They're gonna use one of the left-over workmen houses until a real school is build.

Descartes is the only kid in town so far. He likes to dart.
And since it’s winter, it’s also a good time to build a snowman.

Yep, all is well and peaceful on Loompa Island.
By the time it was Thursday, I realized I’d forgotten the obligatory town meeting on Monday so I zapped everyone to the lot to make up. Alvaro and Alice instantly got their groove on while Alex and Nate (both knowledge) feel more comfortable observing the behaviorism of species-in-love.

Finally! Electricity and water is up and running!
I love this animation, kids greeting their parents when they arrive from work.
I caught Adam and Alex staring at each other. Adam wants kids. Alex wants Adam. Since they’re a couple, they both can have their wishes.
Meanwhile, upstairs, Nate’s got his groove on as well, while Alice and Alvaro went from dancing to more intimate matters.
I found Joy in the bathroom, crying. Maybe she missed Byron, who’s still in his coffin because it’s still daytime.
But as soon as it was dark enough, he joined the party. He totally ignored Joy, though. Instead, he and Alex went playing outside.
This is what it’ll look like if a vampire attacks with a snowball. Just so you know.
Oompa and Remy were getting very excited for some reason. They didn’t even wait for Joy to leave the room. And guess what? There were CHIMES again! Grrrr!
Byron in't allowed to feed on anyone, so he attacked Mr. Snowman instead. Also, hello Penguin!

Woot! Alvaro + Alice and now Oompa = an open position for Medical career!
No idea why Descartes is passed out on the floor, but I guess it’s because I fail at keeping everyone happy and healthy.
More sickness.
My sims hardly ever have family dinners, so I tried to give them one.
This, however, is just... yeah... IDK. 0_o
There isn’t a lot of money (I’m saving for community lots) and the house is too small to have another kid, so Remy starts digging in the hopes of finding something useful.

Proof or it didn’t happen.
The house got a bit more comfortable. Descartes prefers the couch over his bed.
Next morning, Alex dropped by and instantly got the flu as well.
See? That’s 3 sims being sick at the same time, so that means an unlocked medical career. Too bad Remy can’t have it, since he needs to be a stay-at-home dad. :(
