Weekend update
Such a beautiful weekend to be out and about, so we did. Drove down to Burlington to visit a couple of furniture stores I had scoped out recently. We're looking to get a console table to place in the foyer, but our space is limited so we're having difficulty in getting any selections that please us all. Hopefully better luck will be with us in the future. It takes us so long to all agree on something. After unsuccessful furniture shopping, we made our way to St. Catherines where we attempted to go to Red Lobster for lunch. Only the Red Lobster has since been converted to an East Side Marios, so our lunch quickly went from seafood to pasta. They did have a goat cheese stuffed chicken that was quite tasty! *Mental note to look for a recipe*.
After lunch, we ended up down in Niagara to enjoy the botanical gardens for the rest of the afternoon. The sun must have taken a bit out of me, and we didn't bring any fluids to remain hydrated, so I ended up with a headache for the ride home and promptly went to bed.
Sunday was spent mostly around the house cleaning. But for the entire weekend, I didn't get out to see Spiderman 3. Kinda sucks, but should be less crowds (hopefully) next weekend!
