On 9/11 (and I live 400 miles from NYC on the other side of the state), the first thing I did when I could get a phone line from work was call my family. ALL of it. To make sure that my mom and dad and cousins and everyone were safe. Which was after I called my own children to make sure they were safe.

I understand so much where Dean's coming from. He's so scared something's going to happen to Sam, who's out there all alone in a world where people are more fearsome than the SPN.

Brought that day back, sharply, for me. Clean as a knife stroke..

Yeah I remember, my brother lived in NY...and I was frozen...and the lines were down and I felt my heart begin to explode...

And then I got through and he had still been asleep.

Wow! This brought back such powerful emotions and yeah 'I'm such a girl' as Dean would say but this hit me hard. I wish Dean could have hunted down and killed every evil bastard responsible for 911.

Ok, this hit me hard. I've tried not to think about this but we're getting close to the anniversary and this brought it all back. I wish Dean & John would go to visit Sam and try to patch things up between them. This would certainly be a good time to tell the folks you care about how you feel.
