I think I want to make it my personal canon now that a duplicate version of the Jack from their universe is waiting in Pete’s World for the part-human Doctor and Rose. That’s how much I love this idea. And this story, for that matter. I adore it. The way Rose and Jack have to suffer through a lot of awkwardness and uncertainty before they finally manage to become just a couple, rather than two people missing the third part that would make them fit together, just makes this fic for me. Even as much as I like Rose and Jack as a couple, though, the implication that all three of them will finally get to be together again makes me squee with happiness. Thanks for a brilliant read.

Thank you! I had so much fun writing this story - once I came up with it - and I honestly find it difficult to believe that no one had come up with this way of getting Jack to Pete's World before.

I've never written straight-up Jack/Rose before - but I really liked the idea of the two of them trying to find each other, without the Doctor in the background. Even if the Doctor didn't appear at the end, I think they'd be happy with each other.
