This. Is. Awesome. Amy is just so brilliantly in-character as a somewhat surly and overly-entitled youth with random outbursts of temper (possibly the only one of those in Leadworth, from the sounds of it, LOL), and her relationship with Rory is absolutely spot-on perfect. Plus, the whole thing is simply hilarious.

Thanks so much! I actually really love writing Amy, perhaps more than I like her actual character; she's so interesting. I'm really glad the characterization worked for you. Thanks for the lovely review!

God, but I love the easy, casual humor of this piece.

And I want Officer Edwards to be canon.

I'm so pleased you liked it! As I didn't have much to go by as far as requests, I was a bit worried about producing something that wasn't what you wanted, especially with twisting the "in jail" suggestion so far, hahaha. But I'm so happy that it turned out to be something you enjoyed! Thank you for the sweet review and Merry Christmas again!

“You know,” she says, tilting her head to look at him, “if you pay my window fine, you won’t have to buy me a Christmas present.”

He rolls his eyes. “I’ll pay your fine if you want me to, but I’m also going to buy you a Christmas present.”

That's so cute. A very nice moment between the two. I think you captured both of them very well in this piece. :)

I love the way you portray Leadsworth here. It is, if that can be said of a place, perfectly in character. And the dynamic between Amy and Rory is great. :)
