dwrewatch is rebooting!
With the long hiatus until S6, shinyopals, mrv3000 and I have decided to revive this community so that we can relive all our old favourite episodes again.
This is how it will work:
-We’ll watch two episodes a week, one on Saturday, the other on Wednesday.
-After watching the episode, any and everything related to the episode will be fair game until the next episode day. Imagine you’re watching it for the first time! Feel free to post your reaction, your favourite D/R moments, your favourite quotes, meta on character arcs, etc. Us mods may throw out any polls or discussion questions that come to mind, but we welcome all input.
-Please be courteous about putting spoilers behind a cut, particularly anything related to the upcoming series 6.
-This is a bashing free zone. That goes for ALL characters, actors, writers, producers, and the guy who supplied David Tennant with his Chucks. In this comm, referring to a character as a "Mary Sue" will be considered character bashing. (However, valid criticism of character arcs, episode plots, and any related themes is encouraged. Please use your best judgment).
-We welcome everyone to participate in the rewatch, but we want this to be a generally positive rewatch. We also expect there will be a heavy Doctor/Rose focus especially in the earlier seasons.
-Please remember to tag your posts. A list of tags can be found here and include all episodes up to the end of S5.
-We will start this Saturday July 17 with ‘Rose’ followed by ‘The End of the World’ on Wednesday July 21. The full schedule can be found here.
