Introduction
Welcome to the Great Doctor Who Squeefest ReWatch of 2007-2008!
With Series 4 of Doctor Who still way, way too far away, we thought it would be fun to re-watch the first three series from the beginning with other Doctor/Rose shippers.
This is how it will work:
-We’ll watch two episodes a week, one on Wednesday, the other on Sunday.
-After watching the episode, any and everything related to the episode will be fair game until the next episode day. Imagine you’re watching it for the first time! Feel free to post your reaction, your favourite D/R moments, your favourite quotes, the number of times the Doctor and Rose made you squee, etc.
-We’re not moderating membership or locking posts, but this is a Doctor/Rose focused community. Obviously, not everything has to relate directly to D/R (we are talking three full seasons-that’s a LOT to obsess over), but please keep the focus of the community in mind.
-Please put S4 spoilers behind a cut with a clear warning. We’re assuming most people are aware of the S4 casting spoiler by now, but more specific spoilers are bound to come out once we get closer to the new series. So cut them!
-This is a bashing free zone. That goes for ALL characters, actors, writers, producers, and the guy who supplies David Tennant with his Chucks. (However, valid criticism of character arcs, episode plots, and any related themes is encouraged. Please use your best judgment). BUT keep in mind that if Doctor/Rose isn’t your ship, this might not be the best place for you.
-The schedule is posted behind the cut. The first episode on the list is Rose on December 5. Unfortunately, depending on when the BBC starts airing the fourth series, we might not have time to make it all the way through the end of S3. Once we know the premiere date, we might be able to tweak the schedule. Otherwise, it’s likely that S4 will be more than an enough to keep occupied with.
