I'm behind (sorry!), but there a few things I wanted to say about Boom Town. They're very shallow, but I have pictures!
The Doctor totally steals this random old guy's newspaper. For some reason, I am really amused by the old guy's expression while he just sits there, not saying anything at all in protest.

Raise your hand if you look super cute!
Yes, Rose, you sure do! The braids, the scarf, the fingerless gloves, the makeup...you look great. However,
I'm noticing the really hefty coat Mickey is wearing. It looks cold! Meanwhile, you're wearing a denim jacket and a miniskirt. Girl, put on some damn pants! Actually, since this is a British show, make that put on some damn trousers! Tights are not adequate.

I can't watch this scene without thinking the following:
"You fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is: "Never get involved in a land war in Asia." But, only slightly less well known is this: Never go in against a Slitheen when death is on the line!"
(Yes, with the Doctor doing the glass switching and Margaret having the poison, it match better as "never go in against a Time Lord when death is on the line." However, I was unable to resist matching the sounds of Slitheen and Sicilian, and the Doctor is obviously the man in black.)

Random unillustrated:
-Nuclear power station in the heart of a city? Seriously, Margaret, that is the most transparent evil plan I've ever seen.
-Margaret's gas exchange or whatever it was called seems to be working much better than the Slitheen's systems did in the AoL/WWIII. No fart jokes at all during the serious discussions about judgment, death penalty and mercy!
-Why, oh why is this the only episode between TDD and BW/PotW? I adore the goofy camaraderie of Team TARDIS here. The Doctor, Rose, and Jack are all just so happy in the first part of the episode, and I love seeing them that way.
