Omg we're almost done! And this post is late, sorry. In 5x11, The Lodger, we see the weirdest set dressing of all time:
And also Eleven does some stuff. This is probably my second favourite of the season, really, but I don't have much to say about it.
- No, seriously, what is with that painting?
- People seem kind of split on this, so: did you find this episode hilarious, or was the Doctor too unbelievably terrible at playing human? If you found it funny, what was your favourite part? If you found it too much, was there anything you did like (or conversely, what bit was the worst)? What did you think about the basic premise? If you've read the comic... well, I don't really have a question about that, just lol @ the comic.
- Did you like Craig and Sophie and their story or did you find it tedious?
- This is one of the relatively few companion-lite episodes that also heavily features the Doctor. Were you sitting there thinking "NEEDS MOAR AMY" or were you interested in seeing Eleven on his own?
- Did you find the mysterious upstairs room that eats people creepy? What about the reveal that it was a ...TARDIS... or ...something? Basically, did the plot make any sense to you?
- Were you immediately compelled, as I was, to go through the headbutt montages frame by frame?
