A Bit of Clarity Found on Blank Paper

I haven’t posted anything here on my website in quite some time. I went through a bit of a phase where I lost interest in maintaining this, but at the same time, I didn’t want it to go away. After some major changes in my life, I had inadvertently become a bit of a hermit, and lost the enjoyment of some of my favorite hobbies, namely photography. I ( Read more... )

It doesn't sound odd at all. I think people don't realize how much they hold back on a daily basis, especially when others perceive them as out-going or extroverted. Sounds like this has been a really good experience for you. And I'm happy to see some cool photos showing up on my flist page again. :) Hope things keep going well for you.

I forgot that this linked to LJ. I haven't been here in ages. It has been very helpful, and I will do my best to keep a stream of photos headed your way.

I just came back to LJ after a year of not really using it. I've abandoned Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr - at least for the next sixth months. Already enjoying the well thought out posts of LJ vs the 140 character "updates" from most of the other sites. :)

That would make sense why I hadn't seen anything from you on facebook for a while. I have pretty much abandoned twitter, not for any specific reason, but I just lost interest for it. I pop on there every so often to read. I have a love hate relationship with facebook. Sadly, it has become the one place that I can keep up with what is going on with people, but I hate how much time I spend on there.

Yeah, I have a love/hate relationship with FB too. If they would just restore some kind of CHRONOLOGICAL news feed option, I would be happy. What finally drove me away was the fact that the same posts were always right on the top of my feed, no matter when I checked. So aggravating. And I'd like to be able to remove friends and businesses that I follow...when I go back on in a few months I will most likely devote an entire day to weeding down all the crap in my feed until it's just the people I want to know about.
