Flash hated this. He knew deep down that something like this would happen and he'd have to pick up the pieces. After all, he was his brother, and technically, Crash was the only friend he had. Letting Mega Man get to him was the last thing he wanted.
Making his way over, he spoke quietly. "...yo. Crash."
He answered almost immediately, but he turned his head slowly to look at his friend, his brother. He was all ears, until he heard another ping for a reply.
He stepped back, bumping the railing of the ship, it acted as a trigger for his usual tears. He quickly looked down, biting his lip as he stared at the deck under his feet.
"I didn't do anything this time... so don't get mad...at me..." He blubbered pathetically. All his emotions coming out at once.
Crash had always been the one known to easily fly of the handle, the one usually in trouble due to his clashing personalities. This was a perfect time to show that.
"Look, I hate the idea of you being with any Lightbot. Future or not." He looked out to the ocean, grimacing. "Mega Man never cared about you like that."
He stepped over to the railing right next to him, arms resting against it. He didn't want to say this, but he had to take some kind of initative to keep his brother from doing this to himself.
"For your sake, I'm denying all requests to let him join."
He knew that he'd disagree. Even with X on the ship, Crash would still want to be close to his... ugh. First love. He hated it.
"Let him join the Marines. He's into justice and all of that. Old Man Garp would probably love to have him there." He tried to remain as calm and collected as possible, looking down at the water.
"I can't just...ignore it...not when I know he's here!..."
Every second of every day, back home, he remembered who was always on his mind. After beating him that day, not completely killing him... Mega Man Mega Man Mega Man.
"Mega Man..." He winces, tears falling freely down his cheeks now.
"I can't...he has to stay...has to... I need to watch over him..."
Making his way over, he spoke quietly. "...yo. Crash."

It never hurt him before when he chased after him...why did it hurt so bad now? To know he hated him so badly? He already knew that...
