“Are you proposing to me?” she asked.
He looked horrified. “No, ‘course not. I just thought you might like to live with me for the rest of your life. I couldn’t expect you to come back and have nowhere to live, now could I?”
Jack caught Rose’s eye. “I think it’s a ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’ proposal,” he murmured helpfully. “You know - where he asks the American chick if she’d consider not being married to him for the rest of her life.”
“Oh yeah.” Rose nodded knowingly. “The bit with the rain.”
“Would you mind telling me what you two are going on about?” the Doctor demanded, crossly.
Finally, the Doctor decides what he wants. But what will it cost him? A long chapter - put the kettle on and enjoy the fluff!
