daylight returns
On the day of the winter solstice I checked the weather underground's site for Portland and it said that "tomorrow will be 0 min 5 seconds longer than today". A week later and it was saying 30 seconds. Today it says that tomorrow will be 1 m 24 sec longer... just neat to watch the accelerating pace of change of daylight's return.
On a more personal note, new glass in the kiln. Coming soon: another chandelier for the foyer and two new wall sconces (and I made a few new necklaces as well, had some spare room for them in my first firing. Really pretty dichro celtic knots, dragonflies and butterflies (mainly) on green mica-infused background glass. Hopefully pictures soon.
