This giddy little piece fits in quite nicely before T&C. Somehow that makes me enjoy it all the more.

Thanks! And yeah, I prefer my version of how they got there, so if you can ignore Ten's thing for Ian Dury then you can almost imagine that this is how they got there!
Giddy, I like that word :o) No-one's used that yet, that's going to be one of my favourites. Thank you again, glad you enjoyed it!

Oh, this was so sweet! Now I have that bloody song stuck in my head. *hums*

I love your icon, by the way. Is it gankable, with credit?

Heh, thanks! I had the song stuck in my head for a while too - although at first all I knew was the words (from the definition and origin site I found) so I was making up my own tune. I didn't think many people would know the song, actually. But it's a nice song to have stuck, much better than the one I currently have rattling around in my head (don't know if you know the advert for Sheila's Wheels? Oy ( ... )

I had a father who sang whenever he could growing up, so I know a lot of folk songs most teenagers wouldn't. And bluegrass. And country. And everything. Ugh. And no, I don't know the advertisement for Sheila's Wheels. How's it go?

Haha, it's all right. I've got a whole mess of icons, some credited, some not. I'll put this in with my "If you made this, tell me!" batch.

You know how I got a paid account? I dreamed that one of my friends bought one for me. And I told her, and she bought me six months. Then, my mom let me use her credit card to buy a year for my birthday. *nods* Tell one of your friends you had a dream.

I really like this. Wonderful description of their dance and such great attention to detail.

Thank you! Glad I conveyed the dance well, I wasn't sure if it would work at first, but it all kinda poured out (love it when that happens, don't you?) and just worked. :o) I like my attention to detail. Detail is what makes me smile randomly in fics, so I make sure always to include some. Thanks for the comments!

*Feels like she should say something intelligent, but is fairly sure she lacks the higher brain functions to do so*

I think you've captured the giddiness of the Doctor and Rose so very well. They did seem to get into some very silly moods at times, but they also had a lot of fun and it comes across very well in this fic.

I enjoyed it very much.

(I did warn you about the higher brain functions, didn't I?)

*laughs* Thank you. And hey, there's that word again! I like 'giddy', it's fun. It's odd that I managed to get the fun they had before I even saw them having said fun. I'm also very glad that I got the characterisation right, I was worried about that at the time 'cause all I'd seen was The Christmas Invasion. I'm glad you enjoyed it. And do not worry about these 'higher brain functions' you speak of, I am sure they are not as important as they are made out to be.

No, higher brain functions are fairly unimportant, and when you spend a large part of the day with six year olds, I'm sure they are a disadvantage.

I just love all your five icons? Where'd you run off with them from?

Mostly dwicons. I love Five, he's pretty much my favourite. I go through spells of loving another Doctor more than the others (mostly Nine because he's My Doctor, or Six because he's just so awesome in the audios), but I always go back to Five in the end. He has a really weird ability to make me grin like an idiot, and I can't pin down what it is. He's funny and sweet and sometimes comes across naive, but sometimes smart and cunning and he gets so awkward with his companions sometimes, it's so cute! ...And I never thought I'd be babbling like that about a guy. For a guy, he's very adorable.

This one's my favourite, though. I've been turned into a Five/Turlough shipper by many very good fanfics.
