Me "I think I scored 50 somthing..." SSG Wilson... "Holy Shit ..."
Ok so yeah. It looks like I am going into the reserves. I too the ASFAB test. Before I took the test I took a practice test and got a 47. SSG Wilson said that most of the time on average people score ten points higher on the real one since the practice is harder. And 30 is passing if I get above a 50 I get money when I am done Basic.
When we got to the building he said. there are camera's everywhere. "Don't do anything bad, or even pick your nose.
Well I get to the MEPs building and when I get there I have to sign a few forms read a few things and I saw this one thing. "TEST TAKES 2.5-5 Hours." I was like fuck. So I go into the room and there is alot of computers with fucked up keyboards. Only keys there were, were a b c d e and enter and HELP!
The proctor told me what I needed to know and left me alone. He told me if I needed help press the help button. I noticed that there wasn't that much sound in the room. *tap*... *scribble*. *tap* *tap* *tap* ......*tap*... *tap*...... I looked at the screen went through the tutorial and then The noise level increased as I Tapped and used the scratch paper like a Mother Fucker *tap**tap**tap**tap**tap**scribble**tap**tap**tap**scribble**tap**tap**tap**tap**scribble**tap**tap**tap**tap**tap**tap**tap*
It was very easy I thought. I got done and no one had left before me. I flew threw it all. One poor guy next to me looked over at me with a look of awe and jellousy. I left before anyone before me did I think. Well I went to the front desk and asked them to call Wilson. While I waited I did a cool little puzzle thing in the waiting room while watching Worlds Most Amazing videos.
Well Wilson took a while and I had the sealed envelope with my scores inside. I looked through the envelope through with the ceiling light (forgetting about the camera's... Come on curiosity killed the cat.) and saw a line of numbers did a quick calculation inside my head I guessed about a 55. I was pretty happy. A little After STV came on Wilson showed up and saw my shit-eating grin.
"What did you get? Did the seal this shut?" I smiled. "I used the light to look through got a 55." He kinda gave me a look of Not cool then when we got down stairs out of the line of sight he opened it and I think he almost shat himself. "Holy Shit Dude! You got an 81! And You graduated from Morse!" He actually called his boss and was all giddy as a school girl talking to the guy about my score. The line of numbers I saw was some sort of code.
With my score I can get any Job I want!
So while he was driving me back home we chatted a bit. Told him about my girlfriend he told me about his wife and the we got on the subject of Ex's. the was a fun conversation. He kinda made me feel better about the Train Wreck called Mary. "When your young and it's your first one you get what you can take. It's you other head doing the thinking. Almost everyone does it and regrets it but it's life."
So yeah Cool day yesterday.
