Got those chihuahua blues

Worked on a new piece notionally called "Chihuahua Blues", but I am not completely happy with the first pass melody notation yet. Read more background on the Blues, and took a short online course on blues music. Not tremendously helpful, but interesting.   And it all helps on context.  Also, it is great that stuff like this is available online, with musical examples and lesson text.  Similar info here.   Interesting that blues seem so structured, when they were originated by performers who were not classically trained in music theory.  I wonder if this is really a later characterization by musical theorists of what the blues performers were doing; I suspect the performers did not feel so constrained at the time to set rules.

Listened again to my "I Come When Called" with twinned vocals in mp3 format, and it sounds interesting, but is a bit of a departure. May put it online but not as a "LeftOver Brass" number even though it has full instrumentation.
