I was just excited to see the young one (Hainey?) do so well. I really wish he hadn't thrown that interception though. He was doing so well up until then.

I'm with palsgraf. We got Cutler from the Broncos, and the Bronco fans were happy to see him go. He was inconsistent and kind of an ass. Mom had called and said "you can have him!"

(not that the Broncos did anything special this season, but that's another story.)

I'll give Jay that he's grown and improved quite a bit since his Bronco days, and that the knee injury was unfortunate, but I was also impressed with Hainey's scrambling skills in the pocket. It was like watching Elway for a bit there, until he threw the ball, that is. Just need to work on his arm a bit and he could really do some good things out there on the field!

As your mom which division the Broncos won this year, and then ask her how Neckbeard is doing.

As I said... they didn't do anything special (did you read the whole post?) and he *has* improved since his Bronco days. She made the statement a couple of years ago when Cutler was traded here, not this season.

Believe me, their fans aren't happy with their current situation either, but they are not wishing they'd kept Cutler, that's for sure!

I read it. Fair enough. But given what Cutler's been able to do here, maybe they should be wishing for him back. Not that I'd send him. :D

Cutler caused a lot of other problems in Denver. When he was new to the NFL and supposed to be this hot-shot QB, he let it get to his head and pulled several dick moves when it came to dealing with his teammates, his coaching staff, and his fans. He seems to have mellowed personally, but the attitude had a lot to do with it. He's always had talent, but his ego coupled with his inconsistencies on the field at the time didn't win him any Denver fans.

What he needs (what the Bears need) is a coaching staff that can make better decisions. Collins? Really? After the NC game?

I do believe that Cutler's knee issue wan't a fake. If I can say anything good about the guy it's that he's tough and will only come off the field if he *has* to.
