Sometimes, I just get too caught up with being frustrated over the little things - the fact that my students can't apply what they've learned perfectly, how restless they can be during certain lessons, why they keep making the same mistakes in spite of the incessant reminders- that I forgot that they are not just students, they're human beings too. During my last day, I've received a few messages from my students. I wasn't expecting anything as I intended to leave quietly. I never was good at farewells. But the messages I received were heartwarming and sincere, and I appreciated the fact that some students did appreciate my lessons, as far from perfect as they were. Those messages serve to remind me that I should always give my best in my job - no matter how frustrating, no matter how tiring, no matter how fruitless my efforts may initially seem. Couldn't be any more thankful for this opportunity.
