cory should be out by tuesday or wednesday. she has recovered incredibly, the doctors say. it's like she recovered overnight and is now completely herself again, which is good. it's weird because she really doesn't fit in at that place and everyone stares at her weird...while in the gym for physical therapy she is jogging on the treadmill while all the other patients around her are learning how to walk or learning how to control their hook arms or stuff. she can funtion perfectly fine and she's at one of the top rehabilitation centers for catastrophic injuries in the country where all these horrible injuries come in. it's kind of depressing to see all these people all sad and paralyzed and stuff, and sometimes there are people screaming and crying and stuff, but then again it's cool because they bring in things to entertain patients. two days ago they brought in really pretty and playful doggies and today they had a clown! i'm spending the night there tomorrow and during the next morning cory has to go to a "community outing" with four other patients to Target, which will be funny since i'm guessing these people are in wheelchairs and stuff according to what the flier for this event says. of course Cory doesn't need to do the stuff they'll be teaching there like swallowing strategies and how to use a wheelchair in everday places like stores, but whatever.
