Split-decision
I'm somewhat split on the whole Hurricane/Ohmygods RAINPOCALYPSE OH NOES!!! That the news is all a-twitter about up here.
90% of me says bubkiss. I remember Gloria (which made landfall as a Cat. 2, by the way). I was here for Hugo. (I was away at school for Bertha) Floyd was a joke in my book.In point of fact, I remember running outside to do something during Gloria and recall the eye of the storm passing overhead...
Then I watch the Sheeple blow it off and the remaining 10% of me arrives at: You know. This is how bad situations became Major Disasters.
