Well, happens to be a pet peeve of mine when people put in the space. I've never seen anything published with spaces, but I know no rule.

Then, until I hear of a rule, I shall put a space, just to annoy you not use spaces.

Several times. (And she's really good!)

Her books (in no particular order): Dreamland, Someone Like You, That Summer, Keeping the Moon, Just Listen, The Truth About Forever, and This Lullaby.

(Personally, I don't like the space, either. But I have seen it used.)
