So, I definitely got injured again.
over the past week, i've been experiencing some complications and sharp pains in my left side behind my ribcage and i wasn't too sure what it was but just in the past few days, it has been getting worse with everything i've been doing. Whether it's been just regular breathing patterns, coughing or yawning or sneezing most of all and it would just react to the sharpest stabbing squeezing pain i've ever experienced and needless to say, it's not been something all too comfortable and it's actually been kinda scary to think no matter what i do, it hurts immensely.
Well, today was the last straw as i went to work for a 7-4 shift and around 10 or 11 this morning, my allergies started acting up on top of the aching rib and i sneezed several times which flared it up worse, it was all too sensitive and it was really so painful that it was hard to stay at work and it was nearly my lunchtime and my girlfriend was gonna come up n visit me but i was gonna ask to go home instead of toughing it out esp since i was really in agony and miserable and the nose wouldn't stop running and considering how much i was usin paper towel instead of kleenex bc i had no access to any, my nostrils were turned into a raw red color and that's the worst.
So i finally came across an assistant manager and agreed that i'd want to come home and rest and take some asprin to hope i can come back feeling better tomorrow and they let me go. Krystene followed me from there and we stopped for food at Max n Ermas in Livonia, very good btw. We talked about what we were gonna do about getting into the urgent care because it was getting so serious now that it was scaring krystene and she didn't wanna see me get worse to the point that it could seriously affect my health so we went back to my house n did some research to find out where we could go that would accept my insurance and we went to this st. joe's hospital off of 7 mile n newburgh where krystene went in the past to diagnose herself with pneumonia like she's had a few times before.
Checked in and waited for quite awhile til i was called in and went over the checkups with blood pressure n breathing tests and then i saw the doctor as she examined further just how bad my rib was and had me do some stretches to see just how much i was able to handle and while some parts were still tender, it wasn't all too horrible but i was offered two options for medicine...either pill form steroids or motrin 800's and although i wasn't sure how to take the idea of steroids even if it was for medical reasons, i knew that the 800s didn't do much for me considering i had some the past few days but as Ibuprofen and it didn't really make much of a dent in the damage.
So i ended up getting the steroids, i went to walmart to get the prescription filled and turn in my doctor's note so therefore i could have a few days off for R/R and hoping that will help seeing as it's saturday now and i'm scheduled to return on wednesday.
and speaking of the 15th, that will be the 5 month anniversary of me and Krystene dating and how happy that makes me feel...because i never thought it would be humanly possible for me because i've always felt that my luck with women would always be slim to none because i could easily come off as the nicest guy u'll ever meet and logically should make one helluva boyfriend but yet, i was overlooked for years for one reason or another..but aside from that, it all changed once my special lady came into my life last June and stole my heart, and while it was only for 2 weeks, it felt like 2 years...with how busy we were and close as we were, u couldn't separate us even if u tried.
But after some unwanted time away to solve personal issues in both of our lives, we found our way back to each other in November and we've been going strong ever since and i'm very grateful for everyday i'm with her because i don't know where i would be without that girl...she means everything to me and i love her so much...as i will say here, she is the gold standard for all girlfriends.
I haven't written in what was said to be 5 weeks...things have been rather hectic between the girlfriend, work and all the get togethers aka sunday nite chatters, monday nite bowling and goin out to eat, watchin wrestling, and now thursday nite bowling has made a comeback.
Tryin to stay busy and happy and live my life to the fullest and nothing short of it because that's just how i roll.
So, last sunday was an epic day...Wrestlemania 25 followed by Chatters. The day was rather long and while fun, it really sucked the energy right outta me. Got up to Baileys around 4pm and hungout n watched the ppv with 31 and some other people which was all in all, not the greatest show i've ever seen but not entirely the worst...just had it's good moments n mostly bad ones...
But at least i can be happy to say that CM Punk wins MITB 2x now and most of the rest of the card pretty much was lackluster at best but that's to be expected, it's WWE and that just screams "entertainment" and not "WRESTLING"
Thursday was another fun one as we took our small group out to Novi to eat at Kim's Garden for Chinese food which was very good as always, and i tried somethin diff this time as i ate the peppersteak instead of the almond boneless chicken but i liked it alot and we ended up with 10 people and then some of them followed for the post activites...which included Coldstone Ice Cream and Putt-Putt Glo Golf and while i went broke awfully fast...i don't regret doing any of that...because i hardly get out to play putt putt and esp with a cpl good friends and of course my girlfriend so i can't complain.
What else...thanks to my lady...i'm hooked on the now defunct TV series..Charmed. She showed it to me one day when she was watching it and i decided i wanted to see it from the beginning and she showed me, disc by disc from season one and now we're just finishing the end of the 2nd season and i'm really likin it so far.
Kinda sucks tho cuz i know it's gonna end eventually and i'm gonna be frustrated cuz i'll wanna see it progress but it's not gonna...oh well :(
Since my last entry, the issues that came out of my household with my dad getting pissed off about krystene being in my room with the door closed, has kinda semi blew over as we took a break from coming home to hangout as much and now we split it up and go to her house more or if i do come here, we just keep the door open to keep the peace and things have gotten alot more relaxed and normal again so i'm glad about it.
Things are gradually turning up tho, sooner than later. Krystene just spent her whole paycheck yesterday to pay toward my friend Leighann selling her old car which is a 1995 Honda Civic DX and it was only for 500 bux, and there's nothin wrong with it and she needed a newer, better car to get to n from work everyday since she has to trek from canton to ann arbor and that car had too much wear n tear on it to do so and Krystene needs her own car just so we can move out and she put down 300 yesterday and the other 200 comes this week when i get paid. So she can have her own car by next weekend and i've never seen her more excited as now with this car, she can save herself on alot of gas mileage and stress n hassle from her grandparents since it will be her "own" car and nothin bein held over her head so i'm just really happy for her and now that we got the title, all she needs now is the rest of the cash and next week, she'll have it.
I got some big things to look forward to in the coming months...I have a wedding to attend in August for my cousin, i get to attend the family reunion for Krystene's family in July which is a 3 day vacation for me in Manistee, the end of june is the ROH show coming back to Detroit and Transformers 2 comes out that day and 2 days later, is my 4th annual OMGWTFBBQ followed by the WWE ppv " Great American Bash " so it's gonna be pretty damn exciting because on the 15th of august is the best day of all of it...Krystene's 21st birthday and 9 months together for her and I, gonna be a wild day since she's got the idea of having a Black & White "dress up" party which will take place at Olive Garden and the post festivities i believe are gonna be at Chatters in Westland, so i hope it's a great day and she has a most memorable birthday which she much deserves.
My grandma who lives in AZ is coming up to visit in the middle of June for like 2 weeks so it's gonna be great seeing her again, i'll have to see her a few times n have her meet my girlfriend since she hasn't yet but she will love her and i'm very thrilled.
The plans for me n my girlfriend in regards to moving out are still fresh in our minds but financially at this very moment, it's kinda rough because we gotta curb some of our bad habits and get a grip on them mostly the eating out alot and spendin alot of gas money to hang out n whatnot but once we get back on the horse, we will ride strong into the sunset.
We are planning to either still get an apartment or possibly a rent to own home and our friend Heather might be moving in with us too as long as it all goes according to plan with money and timing but it is one of those wait n see things right now, we're still in the planning stages.
On top of that, Krystene is trying to get a 2nd job which may be official as soon as she gets a phone call and she'll be working at the Speedway gas station by my house and holding 2 jobs again but it will be very beneficial as she'll be a little busier and have a little less free time but regardless, that means less temptation to spend money and burn too much unnecessary gas or buy food we don't need.
That's about all i can think of since my brain is practically comatose since i have almost fallen asleep a few times in the process of typing this but i've been thru 2 rough days which were early wakeup days too so i'm just very drained and tonite, i will make up for that and sleep in tomorrow to a point and then call into work and enjoy my day off with my lady and we're gonna watch charmed ALL DAY LONG!!!
