Pick up your own trash, its not my job.

Happened just today.
*friend has a sub for lunch, puts his garbage on the ground beside his chair in class. After class is over he gets up to leave..*
[Me] Hey ya don't forget your garbage.
[Nameless] *grumbles* eh.. yeah. *picks it up and crumples it*
*minutes later he walks to the trash bin with it, only to somehow miss the small flap of the garbage can and have the crumpled garbage fall on the ground, but not bother to pick it up again as he walked off*
[Me] Hey! You didnt even bother to pick it up!?
[Nameless] *shrugs and goes off to get boozed up for his 19th b-day*
[Me] *picks it up and puts it away*
Now honestly.. do I have to pick up other peoples shit? No, but I do it anyway because I'm tired of people complaining about all the trash that litters the streets, but do you ever see them picking it up? NooooOOoo. Thats the janitors job. We don't need to do something if someone else will.
Reminds me a lot of my job at walmart. People would leave their carts mere feet from the cart storage areas, just because its my job to pick them up. I dont mean to be lazy but thats a fucking pain in the ass. And to further that note, those things take up parking stalls, which pisses other people off, but again they dont do anything about it!
Yes, I am bitching, but I have a right to. I'm not some greenpeace earthloving hippy, but I know where things belong, and if people cant bother to put their garbage in the garbage bins, then they have absolutely no right to complain about it. This is your world people, you live in it, you have hands, so pick up your act and throw it in the garbage instead of complaining how nobody else cleans up for you.
