Who reads subjects anyway?
So, anyone who reads Sammi's LJ knows that we're getting divorced. It's completely on the up and up. We had one of those weird, moons-aligned conversations where we both reached the same point at about the same time. We shrugged at each other, essentially, and said, "I guess we should stop trying, if we're both that unhappy." The only thing weird about it is that there is nothing weird about it. It's very amicable, and we've settled into what we've had very nicely.
It's been a wild ride of getting the other room cleaned out, cleaned up, bed put in, dressers in, etc. Getting everything of hers out of 'my' room, making sure No Child Left Behind in the old computer room/her room.
Took a road trip to Mississippi over Labor Day, got to see a lot of ancient plantations. Mississippi seems to be dying a little, I never really saw much in the way of thriving awesomeness. It could've just been the roads we took, however.
Still in the process of everything, and still straightening my room up. Finally got stuff moved into the closet, now to get things in drawers, make sure shelves are all straightened away, and do all that stuff.
Also, require nap.
