Yay for first posts!

The TARDIS sits on a small hill, humming softly to herself. It's quite clear that, as with the Doctor she belongs with, there's something not quite right about her. The look in her eyes is haunted, and she seems slightly broken, or on the edge of something terrible.

Well hello, look who it is! It's the TARDIS-girl, but ooh, doesn't she look different from the last time he encountered her? How lovely. Almost, he imagines, the way she would have looked in a humanoid body during that year he'd made a paradox machine of her.

The Master cocks his head, his smile flickering something close to wickedness.

'My dear girl; a pleasure to see you again.'

She looks up, startled. Why won't he leave her alone?
He hurt her, and he's hurting her Doctor, and how he'll huty her again.
She feels so entirely trapped.

"Please leave me alone, Master..."

The Master pulls an expression of innocent surprise. 'I hardly have any intention of hurting you, you merely looked... in need of company.'

She looks away, fidgeting a bit and biting her lip to keep from running away from him.

The Master rolls his eyes. Honestly, she's so frightened. Granted, he'd hardly treated her with the greatest delicacy during that time, but she's a TARDIS! She's seen and endured far worse in her time. Though really, he supposes, it perhaps ought to be flattering that he's had this much of an effect on her.

He cocks an eyebrow at her. 'Cup of tea?'

Why do I love this icon so much? his_ship January 28 2009, 05:39:26 UTC
She's so afraid that he'll hurt her again, but she's much more afraid of what he'll do to her Doctor. He's responsible for what's happening to her and the Doctor both.
"...No, thank you."

It is a fantastic icon. I heart it. laser_not_sonic January 28 2009, 05:43:20 UTC
Well, be fair, it's not entirely him. It's a him. Or rather a her. He's simply taking advantage, exacerbating what already existed; really, he could hardly live with himself if he didn't take such a delicious opportunity.

He shrugs at her refusal- 'Well, suit yourself, then'- and conjures a cup of tea for himself. The multiverse can be dreadfully entertaining that way. It's a little novelty, but the Master appreciates small pleasures. The cup appears in his hand, aromatic steam rising from the surface of it. Orange ceylon, black, with lots of sugar. Just as he likes it.

It's still a him, and he's still helping her and hurting her Doctor.

She nods, sliding a little farther away from him.

Honestly, the girl is being no fun at all. The Master takes a sip of his tea, sighing.

'You know,' he comments, as if on the state of the weather, 'I'd be less likely to hurt you if I thought you were capable of having an actual conversation.'

"I am capable. I just prefer not to associate with you."

Oh, that is much better! Just look at Mister Master's expression perk up. 'Ohh, go on. I'm not as bad as all that, really.'

"You are as bad as all that. Really."
But she doesn't move away.

[[ooc// Ahaha thank you. Her name is Darla Baker... I think she's a model. Almost all of my icons are from Hollow Art, so if you just search her name there a few base sets should come up.]]

'Oh, I think you'll find I can be most convivial in the right circumstances.' And that's accompanied by his most charming smile.

'Really,' he continues after another sip of his tea, 'You mustn't think I bear you any grudge, magnificent... ah, ship that you are. But circumstances and all that, as they say.'

"Anybody can be, Master."
She frowns at him, wrapping her arms around her legs.

"You didn't have to do what you did."

Aww, and that gets a pout. He is hurt, madam, hurt.

'Frankly, my dear, it was you or Lolita, and I didn't much fancy gutting my own ship.'

She smiles at that. The more broken she gets, the more sadistic moments she has.

"Of course, Master. You were never one to play favorites."
