Challenge 26: S2x03 - School Reunion // Cybermen // Text and Font
It's time for Challenge 26! This week, we thought School Reunion would be a great challenge for New. The Doctor, Rose and Mickey are trying to discover the secret behind strange happenings at a school when they run into a couple of old friends - Sarah Jane Smith and K9! The Classic challenge this week is those age old nemeses of the Doctor, the Cybermen. From their first appearance in that classic episode, The Tenth Planet, facing down One, to facing down Seven in Silver Nemesis, the Cybermen constantly faced off with the Doctor in their quest to plunder the galaxy and convert anyone who got in their way. Finally, the Various challenge is text and font. It could be a quote or a name, a statement or a joke. What we really want to see is creative text and stunning fonts used creatively to accent any Whovian subject you choose!

The Overall Rules
1. Only one icon per challenge, please.
2. All icons must adhere to LJ size constraints. (40KB, 100x100 pixels)
3. You may submit your entries all at once, or in separate posts.
4. All entries must be submitted to the original Challenge post. The Challenge post is screened so all entries are hidden and seen only by the Mod.
5. Do not include your user name in the file name, please. Try to keep all file names anonymous.
6. Animation is not allowed unless specified in the challenge.
7. You do not have to participate in all the challenges.
8. Please direct any questions here.

Text and Font (Various): Your Choice
One of our cleverest tools that we use as iconists is text and font. You can cover an icon with text so that the cap hardly matters and fill it with a huge font, or you can bend the text into a pic and make the font so subtle that it's hardly noticed unless you look very carefully. Either way, text and font can be one of the most influential and fun effects we can use. So, go ahead. Use it however you like. You can take a pic and stick a quote or initials or tiny text to it. You can create a quote icon with particularly nice font. As long as it's Who related and it involves text and font, we want to see it!
