Five of Cups, reversed dakotawitch March 18 2010, 20:30:50 UTC
Your card is the Five of Cups, reversed, in which a partially veiled woman walks away from three overturned chalices and toward two upright chalices. In its natural position, this card usually indicates the end of a relationship or leavetakings. In its reversed position, it tells me that it may be time to let go of old emotional hurts -- to stop focusing on what went wrong. Alternatively, you can expect to hear from someone from the past who wishes to either ask forgiveness or to forgive you. It's important at this time that you focus on what you have (the full chalices) rather than what you may have lost (the overturned chalices). You should take time to think about relationships that have ended and see if those patterns are playing out in your life again. This does not mean you should blame yourself or others, but simply look at what you can take forward or have taken forward from those relationships. (And not just romantic relationships, either.) I think of this card as being about closure, and sometimes reconciliation.

See you at CMA!

Thanks so much! Obviously, lots of thoughtfulness ahead. :-)

I sent a message to my sister Diane, and told her a little about your situation and request for guidance on LJ. Hopefully it will lead to great things! Looking forward to seeing you soon!
