Summary: Jackie Tyler shows Colonel Sheppard around The Void Room
Jackie Tyler shows Colonel Carter, Colonel Sheppard and his team around Torchwood.
“This is the Void room.” says Jackie as she pulls her I.D card out of her pocket to open the door. Dr. Rodney McKay pushes his way through his team towards the front. He looks up at Colonel Carter who is also a Doctor. Colonel Sam Carter asks “What is it there trying to do to the void.” “I’m not really shore but I can ask the team leader over to talk to you.” Jackie starts walking over to Mickey when Rose pops out under a computer console. “Ah Rose there you are. I need you to talk to a group of people about what you are doing.” “What again?” Says Rose in frustration. “You know Mum if we just talk to everyone that you bring round we are never going to be able to figure out how this thing works and I’m not going to be able to get back to the doctor am I” says Rose looking over at the group of people by the door and then at her Mum. “Fine!” says Rose about to walk over to the group of people when her mum pulls her back. “Thank You Rose”. Rose nods and walks over to them.
She introduces her self to the people and tells them that three years ago the void mineralised from (she points to a wall). It opened up to anther Earth in a Parallel Universe. How do you know the void opens up to another Earth? Says Sheppard. Rodney and Sam looks at Sheppard. What! What’s wrong with asking? Says Sheppard frowning. It’s quite alright….. Says Rose. The names Sheppard, Colonel John Sheppard. Well Colonel…. Says Rose as the Colonel butts in saying you can call me John. Says John as his team looks at him. She smiles and says ok then John in a flirtive manner. Well I know because I’m from the alternate Earth well actually Mickey, Jackie and I are from the other Earth.
Bet that’s why you want to get the void to work. No it’s another reason actually. Oh ok they notice Rose looking a bit upset.
Are you ok? asks a woman from the back. She nods. Jackie comes over ok then shall we go and have a look somewhere else. They all nod and start walking out. As they walk down the corridor from the void room Colonel Carter and Rodney turn around and about to start walking back when Colonel Sheppard asks "Where do you think your going." "We’re going to see if they need any help." says McKay and Carter. "Ok of you go kids have a nice time' says Sheppard turning around. "Don't worry Colonel they won't get in the way I bet Rose and her would love another pair of hands" say Jackie seeing him looking a bit worried.
