Researching Jo's Jacket from The Mind of Evil

As cosplay goes, Jo doesn't seem to be a high priority, but I really love that jacket! It could be off the rack. There were many caramel leather/vinyl jackets of similarity in the 70s, but I've never seen one with a square neckline. Such jackets are still on trend for real-world clothing. Even Donna wore a modern successor to this jacket. The very idea of my cosplaying Jo (or even "Joe") is completely ridiculous, of course, but wearing DW-inspired clothes is like knowing a secret code that only other fans with a sharp eye will notice.



I don't suppose anyone has a positive i.d. on this one or a pattern? That chunky ribbed turtleneck shouldn't be too hard to find (or knit), and corduroy jeans will be pretty much falling out of the sky in the next several months.
