Currently dyeing my Menarys River Song dress.
Will report back with pictures.

And here we go!
The dress is now dyed! Here are pictures of it in the bowl and hung out to dry so you can get an idea of how dark it looks while wet. I'll take more photos tomorrow when it has dried! I have some dye left over, so if I do need it a bit darker, it's possible to go back and try again!
I used Dylon in Antique Grey. It's a handwash dye that takes roughly an hour. I did a test piece first that came out almost black, so DEFINITELY test a piece of natural coloured linen first! I drained about half of the water and found it was too pale, so I added a quarter of packet of dye back in. Better to go too light than too dark, anyway!
The dress is now dry! I'm so pleased with the outcome. I don't think I even need to darken it! Something else I'm really pleased about is that the natural colour of the fabric adds that sligthly khaki hue to the dress, which was something I had been hoping it would happen! (Is there such a term as off-grey?) Here are my pictures of the dried dress. Hopefully this little guide helps people who are going to dye theirs in future! If you have any questions, just leave a comment!
