a very Doctor year at DragonCon

i had a wonderful time at Dragon*Con and all the great fellow Whovians made it that much better! All the other costumers, the AWESOME guys who brought the Dalek and K-9, and of course all the happy fans, made it such a great year. The parade was totally awesome and i was very happy to have been a part of something like that with such great people.

Wow, so many costumes!! I had no idea so many people in the US actually cosplayed old school Who. Serves me right for going to anime cons and not sci fi cons, I guess. Especially loved the Six, the Master and the Nyssa! The Adric was a bit . . . wow.

Great pictures! Mind if I ask what camera you were using?

I bought a Kodak EasyShare before the show and it turned out to be ass. The anti-redeye flash doesn't work at all -- I spent tonight in Photoshop, removing red eyes from roughly 200+ snapshots. The flash also isn't bright enough, so that anything more than 10-15 feet away turns rather dark. OTOH, all your shots with the Dalek and K9 turned out super-bright, even though the bots never made an appearance before 9PM in the dimly-lit Marriot lobby. This poor flash is especially annoying, since the suit I got for my Ten outfit tends to turn up as black with no pinstripes if the lighting isn't bright enough. Ah well....live and learn I guess. The Kodak camera is definitely going back to Circuit City.
