ideas on the con and the first day--then the second.
The problem i'm encountering lately, is that at a Con, i think you only have time to display at the most two to three costumes.
And that is because you must stick to one costume a day. I'm wondering a little about this, and i was hoping to get the other cosplayers in on this.
Recently, i perfected my Tom Baker Season 12 look. The final of this was the sweater, and maybe later a new scarf, but for the most part he's done.
I debated the finality of a better Sonic Screwdriver, and perhaps one that makes a lot of noise, like a 3rd doctor I modify, but for now, it can wait, perhaps if the group does another run.
This recent All-Con, I packed up 4 Costumes.
4th Doctor

and Harry Sullivan
As you might guess, Due to a panel we had, I was forced to wear Vincent for a matter of 3 hours, before having to change into the 4th doctor for our panel. I was early t the con, so summarily nobody recognized me as Vincent Van Gogh.
As you might suggest, my Van Gogh Costume is much more effective with an Amy and a 11th Doctor. Being Vincent of course requires me to grow a beard, which i then must sheer off for the doctor.
So, at recent Con, i was barely in Vincent when I had to rush to our panel. Before the panel, I promised to stay in Vincent until we took pictures.

I was at a loss for the panel, because I couldn't shave, and summarily the doctor had a nasty old beard on, which I played off by saying. "Time Space Distortion, you'll have to forgive me... me and my fellow Doctors should rectify this soon, but still, it affected the overall look. Summarily, i missed out in being in some of our 11 doctor lineups, because i was in Vincent gear.
So, rushing to get into my 4th doctor I got into a few shots, and then roamed the con. I decided at that point to FIND another person to be Harry. It was too troublesome--premiering 4 costumes.
And the truth is, i think I overdid it. Summarily, I decided that I would only do two to three costumes a con, based on the number of days I was there. One costume a day.
Love to open the floor on this, and see if any veterans could give me some tips.
