COSPLAY Snuff movie?
Oh the horror! I've just watched the 4th Doctor story Nightmare of Eden. This was the story that on original transmission was the point I stopped watching Who and switched allegiance to Buck Rogers. Yes I was mad. I clearly remember the story struck me as silly and I thought even the Doctor wasn't putting much effort in.
Well It's not that bad, it has a good basic story but sadly the production is piss poor and almost everyone is miscast. I was really enjoying it too as I am going to have a bash at doing the 4th Doctor's velvet brown coat and I could put it down to research.
Then they appear to destroy the actual coat. It's in tatters by the end. And I think they actually destroyed the genuine coat. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
The tattered ruins Tom wears at the end do look like a disembowelled coat and the lining is there for everyone to see. This was also Tom's favourite coat of all the ones he wore and as he was pretty much despised by all and sundry on the production by that point was this scene written in because they knew of his attachment to it?
