Upload your fabric design, select which fabric type you want to try, and select "test swatch". They'll mail you a generous 8"x8" sample, so you can check the colors, quality, and fabric weight are as you would like.
The site is moving slow today, since the free swatches are very popular, and their turn-around time will also be longer than normal. They do request that you consider donating to charity the money you would normally spend on the swatch.
I didn't see anything to indicate if this is US only, but I'm in a rush and didn't have time to check for certain.
