2013 Dragon*Con Pond Paradox Sign-Ups
Hello everyone! It's getting to be that time of year again...Dragon*Con is only a few months away so it's time to start signups for the 2013 (Fourth Annual!) Dragon*Con Pond Paradox Photoshoot. Once again we'll have the wonderful Christa (Newman) Morris as our photographer, with the addition of Nick Stowers. Also, we will still be going with the one person per costume rule that we've used since the beginning. This isn't meant to exclude anyone; it just provides for more variety and more unique photos.
Rules, details, and signup spots beneath the cut!
- Date, time, and place: Friday at 7pm is looking likely, same place as always--10th floor of the Marriott!
- Christa is our main photographer. In order to comply with the payment package she's set there will be a fee of $5 per person for the shoot. This isn't set by me, it's set by Christa. If you have a genuine problem meeting this, please contact me and we'll work something out. I'll post payment information soon but it will be through PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account, let me know as well.
- Nick Stowers will be on hand to take solo and group shots both during the main shoot (with people Christa's not currently shooting) and after for anyone who wants to stay.
- The one person per costume rule: as always, it's first-come, first serve. If someone's already claimed a spot for a costume you really want to do, you're more than free to ask them to reconsider, but don't expect them to say yes. This rule really isn't meant to exclude anyone, but to create a wider variety of costumes and a more unique experience. ALSO, peoples' costume plans tend to change a lot between now and the convention, so if a spot is taken now, it might not be later (and vice versa).
- NO DRAMA. Play nice.
