Any New York Cosplayers Willing to Lend Their Outfits?
Posted this over Gallifrey Base, but figured coming to the source for DW cosplayers would be better!
Anywho, hello everyone!
When not perusing the cool stuff put together on this forum (first-time poster, I know, but I have been watching the community from another account for a long time!), I co-host a web series called Geek Crash Course - a weekly educational series on geeky topics.
This is the first I'm posting about it, but GCC is taking a small hiatus during November and December in order to prep for a bit of a 2013 blowout. I definitely don't need to tell the fine community members here why 2013 is so important!
The current plan for the show's return is to feature each Doctor in their own episode at the beginning of each month in 2013, culminating in a big, month-long November blow-out for Eleven, the 50th anniversary, and more.
What Diana and I need are costumes, specifically for each Doctor and a companion (or more than one!). We're based in New York City and don't want to trouble anyone further away. We'll also keep your wares in the best of care and you'll be credited for each episode in which your costumery appears. We'll also link our viewers to any of your material you might want them to see (videos, blogs, etc).
We're going to shoot the first four months at the start, so we'll just need Doctor and companion outfits for each of the first four Doctors. Multiples are greatly encouraged! Femme Doctors! Male-ized companions! Enemies (I have a beard and would love to get my Master on)! Props! Puppets! If you've seen the show, then you know that nothing is too insane for us!

EDIT: I've had some requests for sizing and specifics on the shoot dates, so check out below:
Me: 40R jacket, M/L shirt, 36 waist
Diana: between a ladies size 4 and 6 in jackets and pants, ladies S/M shirt
Both bits of sizing are US.
As the show shoots waist-up, we'll probably not need pants unless their overalls or something.
We're shooting the first block of episodes (Doctors 1, 2, 3, & 4) in December.
