Quick questions on materials for various supporting characters
Have a thought about trying to do Nefretiti for Chicago TARDIS: does anyone have any suggestions on materials for the hat? Also the bodice, maybe there is some kind of upholstery or craft fabric that already has the detailing?
Second thought is for the Calvierri Girls in Vampires of Venice. auntiemeesh and I made dresses a few years back but we never got the veils that they wear out in public quite right. I thought they looked like heavy almost cotton broadcloth on screen, but that would make them hard to see through, so I don't know exactly what that material was. Here's a pic that seems more wispy. They also had a strange pattern almost like a very large triangular hood to them as viewed from the back. Does anyone recognize the pattern or the fabric? Some kind of linen, I think, but am not sure.
