What in the name of sanity...
Been looking for a better River wig...one that "supported" updo-ing. This came today. I don't know how successful updo-ing will be, but the color is fantastic!
It is "American Beauty" from The Wig Company in color 14/16H. I was concerned about the color because this color was labled as "tipped" and I was imagining it would look like that lead singer from Berlin back in the 80s where literally the last two inches of her hair was colored sharpie black against her Barbie-bottle blond. It is actually a great mix. TWB provided great customer service as I had called to ask for a color recommendation when my first pick proved a poor choice. Not sure the company has lots to offer cosplayers. I find the selection of wigs tend towards "short poodle". But the reps I have spoken with have been just great. Might be worth a look if you are in need.
