A shy hello to all of you! THANKS SO MUCH!
I have to just say thank you to this community for all the info on Idris costuming. My husband has always done a pretty darn good job as Ten, but I never could figure out what to do myself. When I saw The Doctor's Wife, I knew that was *it*. I was totally intimidated but after finding this group it helped me so so much. I read up a lot, but being generally shy and quite intimidated by the awesome here I didn't post, until today. I still have lots of things to tweak, but overall I'm pretty happy, and again, thanks for all the info and help.
From helping with how to deal with patterns and making patterns and materials and just general knowledge, it helped so much. Even with links on ideas about how to fake bustle (lol).
Still a little intimidated to send but, I just want you (all) to know how helpful a compilation of information this is!!! Perhaps after a few more tweaks I'll be brave enough to take it to a Con :)
