Boot dye/polish?
EDIT: update on Red Boots
Hello!
Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a boot dye and also a boot polish?
I need to polish up some dark red boots for Romana I, and then dye some tan boots light blue for Zoe from the Five Doctors (Wooooo bubble wrap!). Both pairs are leather, although the red ones are a stiff leather and the tan ones are a softer more flexible leather.
I've never dyed or polished boots before so any tips would be helpful!
Update:
Took the red boots to a shoe repair place today to get the polish, and instead of regular polish the person recommended using "Blackrock, Leather 'N' Rich" and let me just say that it turned out phenomenal!
It kept the vintage look of the boots instead of just making it into a blank slate and look like new. It fixed all the scuffs and miscolorations and made them look awesome!
