OK, people who know me know I'm a nut about going over and over screencaps, because I love the tiny little details of a costume. So this morning I was going through LKH ones again and discovered something. River's pants split in the front and come down over the boots to just above mid-thigh. Yes! I split my trousers on the knee. They're also laced. I can take a picture of my trousers if you like?

The shot I looked at--I didn't see laces, I thought those were the shadows of the boots. Am I silly?

Lol yep! We're working on our River's new costume - aka this. We were like...Craaaaaap...grommets... They turned out well though!
