First time cosplay as River
Hey guys! This is my first time posting, I have been lurking for a while (trying to get Ideas for Gallifrey next month) and I thought I would post to get some input!
I am putting together the outfit from The Time of Angels with the black dress. And I have had such a time With finding a dress I can modify! but gosh I think I may have just stumbled upon it on EBAY!!!
I plan on making some adjustments to the sleeves and getting rid of the Mandarin collar, but there is so much similarity it is crazy! I had been looking for weeks for something like it with no luck and my mom was just looking for trim and this dress popped up. I hope it fits! if I doesn't I think I know where I will be posting to sell it. haha.

And I have been messing with my naturally curly hair to make it a bit tighter and bigger so it is more like River's, now I just need to work on the pin curl and style that she has in the episode!
I also found a purse sort of like her's on ebay (Notice a trend here?) and I need to find a gun like hers too.
How do you guys feel about the dress? Am I going crazy or is that so close to hers? I don't sew much so making my own dress is not an option and I don't have any seamstress friends!
