River belt and boots - DONE!
I have been working on my River Song DOTM outfit, which mean putting the sewing machine away and getting out the leather working tools. So far, I have the belt and the boots done. Plenty more to work on coming up. I want to thank everyone here who posted info about either the original belt, or their reproduction there of. It was all very helpful, and I am quite pleased with the way mine turned out.
I have also been working on the boots. I didn't like the look of the screen accurate ones (even if I could find/afford them), so instead I bought these, which I liked a bunch.
Then I made additional pieces to add on.
Making them look like this when I put them on.
I know that this means that I have straps all around the back of the leg in two places, which is different from River's boots, but i like them better this way. And I get two different boots styles for the price of one.
What do people think?
