a couple of small finds for the Amys
Hi, everyone! I hit the mall a couple times recently to see what Amy goodies I could find based on what you all were posting and I did pick up a few pieces thanks to all your posts so thank you so much! I think I have a couple complete outfits now so once I have the time, I will try to photograph them for you!
But now onto the fun stuff! First of all, I found a pink checked button down at American Eagle. The colors aren't perfect but if you want something that is likely at your local mall and you can try on, here it is:
Excuse the poor quality, it was taken by my cell phone which is not smart or fancy or anything. I took this one a couple weeks ago, I just haven't had much computer time these past two weeks. I can't find it on the website. I've found similar patterns but not the same one. It's a bit pinker than it came out because my phone has no flash. Not sure if it's around but you can check your stores. It does have long sleeves, but it can be rolled.
Secondly, I found some "look for less" Amy tights at Forever 21.
Once again, cell phone pic! But on the left they are brown chevron tights that cost $7.80 and on the right are pink tights that cost $3.50. I haven't tried them on yet for size since they don't have tall/extra large sizing so I am not sure they will fit me but the price was right. I am not sure if the shade of pink is right but you'd have to match it to your shirt. As for the brown sweater tights, those are the first I've seen in that color in my local store so check that out if you are searching for them!
I am hoping to hit up Express later today to see if they still have that jacket in stock - I have a coupon that starts today and it looks like they already dropped the price. Hope they have my size!
ETA: I forgot to add this. If you're looking for a red scarf and gloves in a pinch, Old Navy has a fairly inexpensive red scarf with fringe and a pair of matching convertible mittens. Not perfect, really, but if you need something in a pinch, they're cute.
