I started purging some of my books last year - books I knew I wouldn't read or read again, many of which I'd picked up at used bookstores several years ago, books I no longer had any interest in reading, books that were just taking up space on my shelves. My current hold list at the library:
- Let's Explore Diabetes With Owls by David Sedaris (91 of 307)
- The Fault In Our Stars by John Green (60 of 204)
- Inferno by Dan Brown (197 of 423)
- The Golem and the Jinni by Helene Wecker (55 of 81)
- And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini (220 of 410)
- The Rook by Daniel O'Malley (in transit!)
I think it'll be quite some time before I see any but the last book on that list. >_>

Chris loves David Sedaris! He and my sister went to see him in Pgh last year. In fact, it was a David Sedaris Christmas from me to Chris last year. Books, CDs etc.
I'm interested in reading "Inferno" since I liked "DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Demons".

Dan Brown has written the same book over and over and over. I'm not expecting Inferno to be any different, but it should be a quick read, at least. =P
And I'm expecting Hosseini's latest to be just as depressing as his first two, haha.
Of course, I'm not actually going to get any of these books forever. ;)
I started The Color Purple yesterday, since I'd never read it. It's ... interesting, so far.

I love Brown's books. Angels and Demons was WAY more disturbing than DaVinci. But, I loved the symbols and twists etc!
