"Man! I look like one of the blues brothers..."
So, I just finished the first season of Supernatural last night. Talk about a cliffhanger season finale!!! I have to say, I really do like this show and I wasn't sure I would. I've never been a big fan of horror movies, but the show isn't actually that scary. It's more interesting than nightmare inducing. Favorite ep: Phantom Traveller. Hopefully I'll be able to get the second season in the next couple days.
Violin is going okay. My teacher encouraged me to find all the different sounds the instrument can make by tuning it funny and really getting to know it. Now I haven't been able to tune it back. *facepalm* I cancelled the lesson I had scheduled for tomorrow. I think it may be time for another mental vacation before the holidays.
I've been trying to convince my mom to go spend the weekend with me at the beach even though it's stormy. I doubt that will happen and I'm not going by myself, so I think this weekend may end up being, though I dread to use the word, a staycation. Whoever came up with that phrase needs to by punished for their annoyingness. It's right up there with Ho-Cho and Fro-Yo. But I think watching some Ghost Hunters and Dark Angel will do me good, along with some fic writing and book reading. Cold weather's starting to set in, so what better way to ring in winter with reading by the fire?

So far, this book is kind of a waste of time. The movie wasn't very different, so I could have just left it at that instead of taking the time to read the book. I haven't decided if I want to continue reading the series. I'll finish this book, but it may be the last. I'll finish the current book list and then see how I feel then.
