Book List Update! The Jane Austen Book Club by Karen Joy Fowler FINISHED
Yes, amazingly enough I finished that book in just a few days. Very relaxing, chick lit read. I especially liked the characters. Interesting and informative. And I loved that each character has a different perspective on Jane Austen the person. "Each of us has a private Austen." I think mine is the woman who decided to avoid convention and live by her own means on her own terms. A woman who was a subtle pioneer, leaving clues about society and human nature for us to find centuries later.
