I've started sewing again. I'm currently making a pirate-y type shirt that's got the puffy sleeves and collar. Hopefully it will turn out good. You see, when it gets to be fall/winter my mom and I go into super crafty mode. Knitting, christmas decorating when the time comes, sewing, and just general crafting. Mostly it gets pretty intense around Christmas cause we decorate the whole house. But right now, it's just mostly sewing clothes. I've ordered the boning for a corset I plan on making and have the rest of the stuff for except the laces. I'm really hoping to get that finished by Thanksgiving so I can wear it to my uncle's house on Thanksgiving day. I'll be posting some crafty updates through the winter, btw. I've just learned the other day to make cables in my knitting. Currently I'm starting a series of sampler patches to put on my wall, just so I can get a feel for it. The first one I'm making is kind of a honeycomb type pattern in off white speckled acrylic. Pics will probably follow in the next couple days when I get further into the pattern.
Oh and *DANCES* The illustrated companion for Twilight that I pre-ordered just got shipped today. Yay!!!!!
Pattern pic for the shirt (I'm making it in the same color). What do you guys think? With skinny jeans and a wide leather belt?
