Royal Wedding
Watched the royal wedding this morning. Yes, I got up early. Yes, I actually cared. I don't care how bitter or cynical or how modern you think you are, an event like this is still history. One day, your grandkid will ask if you watched it because they're learning about it at school.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought it was tastefully and simply done, which matched Kate in a way. The Abbey was breathtaking, the hats not so much. Then again, I'm not British and it's not a culture I understand fully. I wish the couple all the best. They're cute and young and have a bright, exciting future ahead of them.
